The Adventure Starts Now

Welcoming Message

Welcome to the Semita Foundation and welcome to the opportunity where you discover the “Global You.” We are a nonprofit organizational that strives to provide opportunities for today’s youth to develop cultural awareness and global skills.

This foundation started in order to address the critical needs of young people to prepare for the global world. As the world becomes more integrated, today’s youth needs to be globally prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century. However, the reality is that less than 1% of American students go abroad and many of them do not learn enough about cultures and people from around the world.

Our journey began with the founders’ personal experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer,  Ameri-Corps fellow, and as teachers. All of these experiences highlight the value of community service and the value of global citizenship that this foundation strives to foster in today's youth.

We believe that students can become these global ambassadors for the world. Through the many exciting and unique programs that the Semita Foundation offers, young people can reach for their untapped potential. We have international programs in Asia, Europe, and the United States of America.

We provide the services to help students grow and learn more about themselves, help them become more self-reliant, and to be more confident in their abilities to excel in the global world. We at the foundation would like to extend our hand to you to join. Please join us to help students discover the world and their place in it.
