The Semita Foundation is offering a summer camp in California. In this summer camp various countries such as Germany, China, Vietnam and more will participate for ten days in a safe and nurturing environment.  Students will be housed on a campus setting and will participate in many cultural and educational activities.

The Semita Foundation offers high school students unique study abroad opportunities in China to be fully immersed in the Chinese language and culture. These programs will give students a head start with their language journey and help them speak confidently in Chinese. Be it an academic year, a semester, or summer in China, the Semita Foundation can offer students an experience of a lifetime. Full immersion is the best way for students to learn a  language and we can offer this and much more.

 

There are so many benefits for students studying abroad, including more confident in their ability to speak a foreign language and also when they apply to college.

Cultural immersion includes a home-stay component, where students stay with a local family. Students will also be able to participate in tours of urban and rural areas as well as cultural workshops.

 

This program offers ample opportunities to interact with local Chinese high school students. The best way to learn a second language is to immerse yourself  fully in it and this program offers students the opportunity to do just that.
